History

CodeGent LLC was incorporated in 2018 as the founder relocated to Yarmouth ME, after 49 years as a Massachusetts resident.  Formerly doing business as a sole-proprietorship under the name Quality Software Management, Mr. Lehotsky has provided consulting and software implementation services to a wide variety of clients ranging from startups to Fortune 50 Technology Leaders.

Focussed in programming language design and implementation - especially using the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) and related open-source  projects, we have also worked on a number of proprietary compiler architectures such as the Intel Compiler Family for x86 and X/Scale (ARM), Freiburghouse PL/1 and Verdix Ada.

Numerous ports of GCC, binutils and GDB targetted to machines ranging from 8 bit network controllers, Harvard Architecture DSPs, Gigabit network router CPUs, up to 64 bit supercomputer-on-a-chip architectures. Mr Lehotsky has also provided maintenance services for ARM, x86, and PowerPC targets.

Additional experience in operating systems ranging from real-time minicomputer RTOS, multiple variations of UNIX (BSD, SVR5, OSF/1, Solaris, HP/UX, AIX, Linux), Microsoft Windows, and big iron (VAX/VMS, zOS) included writing user-space utilities,  kernel services including file-systems and device drivers in a variety of environments.

Project management, and leadership experience with small teams (3-7 engineers), large groups (30 or more engineers) all the way to C-suite positions.
